So excited!

My husband called me early this morning and told me to turn on the radio because he was going to be on there. At first I didn't believe him. So after finally realizing that he was telling me the truth I heard him on there talking. He had to guess how many songs a guy from american idol would know of Mariah Carey's music. I was so excited. He won 2 tickets to see 311 and Snoop Dogg in July!! I'm really happy that by that time I won't be pregnant either so I'll be able to go with him. I don't normally listen to that type of music that often but the thought of winning something is so neat.
Today I'm 32 weeks and 4 days pregnant. Tomorrow I go back to the doctor's office for another appointment. Can't wait to see how that goes. I'm sure I'll be updating.

Is this weird or what?

I forgot to write about this earlier when I was on. Well, first of all my husband works for a telecommunications company in Charlotte. So all day long he's out driving and having to get out of his truck for his job. Well, sometimes he leaves his truck running if he's not going to be out of it long. On Friday he called me while I was on my way picking my son up from school and he was like guess what just happened. He said he was at a set of apartments and he got out of his truck for about 3 minutes.....when he went to go and leave he seen someone in his truck in the passenger seat. So he walks to the window and he seen a girl just sitting there. She said she was wanting to sell magazines for a fundraiser at her college. He asked her why she was inside his truck and that she needed to get out. She told him that since it was raining and a little cold that she didn't think he would mind....then kept trying to get him to buy magazines. He told her no and she finally got out and slammed the door walking away mad. I thought it was really weird for someone to do that. He said she was a foreign exchange student. I'm not sure if they are that trusting in her country or not, but you can't do that in places around here. I would never just jump in someone's car without asking them and them not being in it. Also I think he learned his lesson in locking his truck when he gets out even if it is for just a couple of minutes.

My day started later today than I had planned. We overslept 2 hours this morning. I was suppose to have gotten up at 5:30, but when I woke up it was 7:30. When I woke up I seen that it was daylight outside and my first thought was that it was either Saturday or Sunday. Then I realized it was Monday morning! I think it had alot to do with my daughter sleeping in her bed last night. Usually she wants to sleep with us. Last night she decided that she wanted to be a big girl and sleep in her bed. It made the bed so much more comfortable. We're hoping that she'll do it again tonight.

I passed!

I am so happy that I passed the 3 hour sugar test! So no gestational diabetes for me. The baby's heart sounded really good. I did gain another 2 pounds in 2 weeks. My doctor says that it's normal to gain about a pound a week this far in pregnancy. That means I still have about 9 more pounds to gain! I'm not looking forward to it.
I also took my daughter to her pediatrician yesterday because she's had this rash that comes and goes on her face. We found out that she has eczema. I've got to go today and pick up her prescription. As of today I only have 9 weeks and 1 more day to go being pregnant with this baby.

Glucose Test

Yesterday I finally did my 3 hour glucose test. I was dreading it all weekend. I thought it was going to make me sick and not feel very well. It actually wasn't that bad. The worst part was being bored having to sit there every hour and then them taking blood every hour on the hour. Now both of my arms are bruised and sore. I'm just glad that I got it all over with. I go back tomorrow to make sure I don't have gestational diabetes. I don't think I do, but I guess it's just something you have to go through when you're pregnant.
Saturday I turned 30 weeks pregnant. Only 10 more weeks to go. My baby shower is coming quick too. Then my son's birthday is in a couple of weeks. We're still trying to figure out if we're going to go camping for his birthday or not. My daughter's birthday is next month. I can't believe that she's going to be 2 years old. It feels like I just gave birth to her. We'll probably have her party at the park since that's her favorite place to be these days.

Since yesterday I've been dealing with heartburn that won't go away. It started when my husband, my daughter and I went to Wendy's to get dinner. I ordered a caesar salad and then it hit me. I woke up all through the night with it. I drank milk, took tums and I still have it right now. I guess being towards the end of my pregnancy this is normal. I finally got matching outfits for my daughter and the new one for when she gets here. We went shopping at the new Wal-mart after dinner last night and that's where I got the outfits. They are so adorable. The little girl clothes there are so cheap and cute. Plus the new Wal-mart has so much more selection and it's not as crowded as all the other ones. After we left there I went and picked my son up from his dad's house. He has spring break all week from school.

Turning 30 today

Well, today is my 30th birthday. I thought I was going to feel somewhat depressed, but honestly I feel the same. I do feel more mature now that I am the big 30. Turning 30 makes you think about your life.....things I've done, and things I haven't done. Happy Birthday to me!!

Easter 2008

This picture is of my daughter eating her Easter candy. She just had to show it off for the camera. Her day yesterday was filled with eating candy, hunting for easter eggs, and playing. We all went to my husband's parents house yesterday for Easter. All the kids got their easter baskets from the easter bunny, then we all ate a big dinner, then the kids went hunting for easter eggs. Then after about 4 hours we headed home. My daughter was so exhausted. She also got a boo boo on her knee from falling in the driveway while she was learning how to play hopscotch. She cried almost an hour before she went to bed over her knee. It was her first real boo boo.

Yah!! I finally mopped the floor and washed the dishes. Now I just need to vacuum and I'll be done. Oh and do some laundry....then that is it for me today!!

Ready to not be pregnant anymore

This pregnancy is really making me feel old. I feel so tired all the time and I have no motivation at all lately. I've decided that I'm not having anymore kids after this one. It's so hard to get up in the morning and get the whole house clean. I use to be able to get it all done in one day. Now I find myself stopping every so often to take a break. I'm curious to find out if I do have gestational diabetes. That cold be the reason I'm so tired and exhausted all the time. So far in this pregnancy I've gained 20 pounds. As soon as this baby comes I'm going to get into top shape. I don't like feeling this way all the time.

Had doctor's appointment

Yesterday I had my regular doctor's appointment to take my glucose sugar test. After sitting there for an hour I found out that I failed the 1 hour test. Now I have to go back in a couple of weeks and take the 3 hour test which I'm so not looking forward to. The night before that test I can't eat or drink anything except water after midnight. How is a pregnant woman suppose to do that. Oh I forgot to mention that I'll be 29 weeks pregnant tomorrow. I'm due June 7th of this year, which I can't wait for.
